Mimma Viglezio

Former Corporate Communications Executive Director for Bulgari, Global Communications Director at Louis Vuitton, Executive Vice President of Global Communications of Gucci Group, where Mimma coordinated and controlled the activity of 8 brands and was a member of its Executive Committee.

In January 2010 Ms. Viglezio decided to pursue an independent career.

She currently advises companies, boards and CEOs on a free-lance basis on matters related to organisation, strategy, product and communications. She has recently worked for Stefanel, ID Magazine, Nadja Swarovski (whom she advises regularly), Canali S.pA, the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (RSI), Giampiero Bodino High Jewellery, MACHINE A, SHOWstudio, Nick Knight and Mastered.com, among others. She advises young designers and start-ups on business plans and investment opportunities, on strategy, product and communications.

Those include Published By, ELV Denim, Bianca Saunders, ART School and others.

She has been asked to host conferences and stage interviews by various institutions and media, further enhancing her presence as a broadcaster and a presenter.

Presently she is Editor in Chief of Tomorrow London Digital Showroom Editorial page.

She is a Board Member of Tomorrow London Ltd and of BirdSong London.

She is an advisor of the Board of Modern Meadow, a biotechnological company for the creation of bio-fabricated materials. She helped the launch of ZOA, the first bio fabricated leather.

She is a Trustee of the Swarovski Foundation, a Board Advisor of The Fund For Global Human Rights and a Member of the Leadership Committee of Women for Women UK.

She has been Editor of SHOWstudio, Nick Knight’s digital platform, for 2 years, and she writes for several publications.

She has been Editor in Chief of LULA Magazine for close to 2 years. Her first issue was LULA 21, the last Lula 23.

Mimma is fluent in Italian, French, English and spoken Spanish. She speaks some German and studies Mandarin.
